 Large format engineering drawings, newspapers and larger bound volumes (e.g. Old Parish registers) are the main uses for 35mm microfilm. Around 600 images can be held on each microfilm,so space saving is around 96%. Retrieval is accomplished using Readers for viewing or Reader-Printers for viewing and printing. Eye legible titles/dividers can be used to make retrieval easier. Â Drawings can be transferred into Aperture Cards or Jackets which are titled to your needs, turning drawings into a fast and efficient card filing system. | | |
